About Missions

The third step in our church strategy (Look Out) challenges everyone at The Fellowship to answer God’s call the same way the prophet Isaiah did, “Here I am, send me.” It’s a call to get on board and embrace this truth: taking the gospel to the nations is not optional. We understand every person is not able to get on a plane and go around the world for a week “doing missions.” But we’re not commanded to fly around the world to spread the gospel – we’re called to feed the poor, help the helpless, give hope to those who have none, use our blessings and gifts to alleviate suffering, and make disciples by spreading a gospel of love and forgiveness in the name of Jesus.  We can do all these things daily and locally, as well as in other countries.

Hope 4 Honduras

Hope 4 Honduras exists to help the people of Mogote, Honduras develop a sustainable relationship with Jesus Christ. The ministry has a multi-purpose focus supporting the following ministries: daily feeding ministry, twice a day Bible Kinder (similar to VBS), Hope Academy after school tutoring program grades K-12, a newly accredited bilingual school, men’s & women’s ministry, a church with a Honduran pastor, Hope Bible Institute pastorial care for new churches across the city of Tegucigalpa, construction ministry, trade-skills ministry, a clinic with a Honduran doctor & it’s still growing!

New Life Christian International

New Life’s mission is focused on evangelizing the unreached people in Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa by proclaiming the gospel from village to village, educating local pastors, and equipping churches to send more missionaries to other parts of Ethiopia. They are not only reaching people with the help of those who’ve been sent to Africa, but they are training their own missionaries to be sent out as well!

Pearl Haven Ministries

Pearl Haven Ministries partners with Pearl Haven Church located in Uganda, Africa. The vision is to share the Gospel and help to disciple the people of Uganda using a variety of methods, including organizing and taking teams to help with: sports camps, door to door evangelism, discipleship training, and business development. Not only will we be partnering with Pearl Haven Church in Uganda to reach the Ugandan people, but we will be working together with local African pastors and churches to share the Gospel in areas going north up the Nile River, with the goal of eventually reaching Sudan, Egypt, and Israel, as this is the vision that was given to Pastor Wilberforce Okumu, of Pearl Haven Church. The Backpack Coalition

Hunger is a problem in our backyard. It is affecting the children at our local schools. Teachers observe children returning to school on Monday hungry from the weekend. The Backpack Coalition is a group of organizations that have come together to address the issue of weekend food deficiencies for elementary aged children in Round Rock. Students who are identified as nutritionally unstable are privately nominated by teachers or school staff. They are then provided a bag of nutritious foods and juices to put in their backpack to carry home on Fridays to help bridge the gap until Monday morning.
