The Fellowship LifeGroups are here to reach people for Christ and help them grow through intentional small groups. These groups are intentional about being disciples that make disciples.

What is a Life Group?

A Life Group is a small group of believers who meet together regularly to study the Bible, serve, love, pray, (probably eat), laugh, and intentionally live in the relationship that God intends. It is led by identifiable leaders who joyfully take responsibility for the growth and health of the group. At The Fellowship, our mission is to “help believers grow to be like Jesus.” LifeGroups are where that growth happens!

Why do we do Life Groups?

God is relational, and exists in eternal community and fellowship between the Father, the Son, and Spirit (Gen. 1:26). And God created us for community and relationship, too (Gen. 2:18). So at The Fellowship, we believe that God’s people are spiritually healthiest when walking in biblical community with each other (Acts 2:42-47). Discipleship, accountability, and deep friendships are all cultivated best within the small group (Life Group) setting.

Part of our “growing to be like Jesus” means being how He was, and doing what He did. Jesus was holy, wise, and compassionate – and He loved, taught, and walked regularly with a small group of people. So we don’t just want to know what He knew – we want to do what He did. We want to grow to be just like Him.

3 Areas of Focus for Life Groups:
