Baptism

Next Steps in Baptism

Here at The Fellowship, baptism is a celebration and an image of what Christ has done to transform us. If you have made a decision for Christ, we believe this is your next step of obedience. We would love to celebrate with you and meet with you.

Foundation of Baptism

Foundation of Baptism

Baptism is intended for those who have professed faith in Jesus Christ and give testimony to their faith. We baptize by immersion because we believe it to be the original intent of baptism. Baptism points to our spiritual death, burial and resurrection in Jesus Christ.

Baptism is an outward profession of inward faith. It does not save us, but is an act of obedience in following Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:1-11

Baptism Class

Baptism Class

Before getting baptized at The Fellowship Church, you will attend a baptism class.

Our baptisms happen during a Sunday service. You may select your location (Round Rock, Hutto, or Taylor) and service time (9:30 or 11 AM) and we encourage you to invite friends and family to celebrate this morning with you. Baptisms are held on the fourth Sunday every other month.
